The Small Museum RATI opened on 15th of April, 2000 under the sponsorship of the Town of Bakar in the private house of Ratimir Gudelj Rajko. It was designed in such a way that by the year of 2014, the permanent museum exhibition of ethno artefacts, written materials, and photographs is to be completed, which would evoke the history of Praputnjak. The house in which the Small Museum RATI is situated is one of the oldest houses in the Bakar’s vicinity, built around 1750. The small museum RATI is listed in the census of collections of the private museums in Croatia, and almost all of the exponents are captured and listed in a 5-day work of both experts and students from the Folk Museum of Zagreb (2008).
The Museum is open for visitors by appointment. The admission is free of charge.
